Who is RisanStar?

I am mostly a self taught junior programmer - with other credentials such as studying game design within ELAM (East London Arts and Music) - and moderate video editor that has created and curated many projects. I have been programming for 1 year and have been editing for 2 year collectively.

- Around 7+ 6 week mini game projects.

- Around 30+ personal editing projects and fully fledged videos.

Since gaming was and still is a major factor in my life - my involvement within the gaming industry has always peaked an interest

either for a job - or just as simple as past time. Even as a consumer I have gained a lot of knowledge of the industry down to:

- Career paths.

- Selling points.

- Core gameplay loops.

Even more recently:

- AI cooperation and function.

etc.

It's even affected the way I edit and incorporate pacing within my video projects due to games also taking inspiration and knowledge from your typical written story.

Why do I edit and program?

My passion and ambitions usually involve developing my technical skills. I try to be well rounded and establish knowledge in things from niche little skills, to major life skills that would be incorporated into my daily function. Programming and editing I see as an art of sort - people can leave seeing what you've created as an inspiration and inflict strong emotions - creating a vision for your story.
